I usually get the regular Biltong (and love the flavor and texture) so I wasn’t sure what to expect from the “extra lean biltong” — I was worried it would be really hard and, well, too lean.
When my order arrived (really quickly 2 days after ordering), I was met with deliciousness. The texture was exactly as I like! It’s tough enough that it’s still chewable. I like the extra lean because there aren’t any strings of fat attached to the meat, which sounds awful when you put this into words… and not doing the extra lean any justice!! Worth a try for those who like their dry meats.
