On October 27th, the Aitch’s Biltong team had the pleasure of participating in the charity run organized by Foodsport, alongside our friends at Art Piece. The event was held in celebration of World Food Day, and it was the perfect day for a run – great weather, a beautiful location, and an incredible cause.

The purpose of the run was to raise awareness and funds to fight poverty and hunger. Every calorie burned during the run was converted into food equivalents for donations to ImpactHK, providing nutritious meals to the homeless in Tai Kok Tsui. Additionally, the proceeds from the event, after covering operating costs and food donations, will support the FOODSPORT FOUNDATION. This foundation funds “Food Assistance” and “Community Sport” programs, ensuring the sustainability and expansion of community calorie drive initiatives in Hong Kong.

To keep the participants energized and fuelled, we shared samples of our high-protein biltong, a perfect on-the-go snack that provided extra support for everyone taking part in this impactful event.

Participating in this event was a truly rewarding experience for our team. It was wonderful to see so many people come together for such a meaningful cause. The energy was high, the spirits were lifted, and the sense of community was palpable.

We are incredibly happy to have been part of this event, working together to make a difference. A huge thank you to everyone who supported and joined us. Together, we can fight poverty and hunger, one step at a time.
